About Us
I, Anne O Sullivan, welcome you to my web site, built and designed by Jamjo Design. This web site has been developed to provide information about my two Leonbergers, Daisy and Kyla. Kadee Leonbergers (K for Kyla and D for Daisy) is not a "kennels" as I'm not a breeder.
Avonlee house sits in a lovely quiet setting in the Lee Valley just 10 mins west of Cork city.
Our dogs are much loved and protected members of our family. Leonbergers are a loving, intelligent active breed with a great sense of fun. They make excellent all round dogs, wonderful companions, beautiful show dogs, enthusiactic characters and obedient, loyal and loving dogs.
We brought Daisy home on 19th November 2005 at just under 7 weeks of age. At this stage, we already had a lovely Lab mix, called Milly, but, sadly, she was to pass away a year later.
Stormchaser Power of Love, bred by Mrs Lynetter Hodge, born on 14th August 2006, was to become my second Leonberger.We gave Stormchaser Power of Love, the pet name Kyla.
I'm so very proud of what Kyla has accomplished on the show scene, culminating in being the first ever Irish owned Leonberger to become an Irish Champion at only 16 months of age, the first second generation UK Leonberger to make champion status and the first of two second generation of Stormchasers to become a champion, her many Green Stars, Best of Breed wins, 3 CACIBs, her placing at Crufts which made her the first Irish owned Leonberger to be placed at Crufts and now being Annual Leonberger champion for 2008 making her the Top Winning Leonberger in Ireland for 2008.
